Through the blood drive ministry, the church reaches out into the community to provide the opportunity for community members to give a life-saving service. The Bible teaches, “So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone…” (Galatians 6:10). A blood drive:

-
Brings the community to the church building for a critically needed function.
-
Saves the lives of many patients who would die without this gift – for example trauma patients and people undergoing a variety of situations, including surgeries, chronic illnesses, blood disorders and cancer.
-
Promotes a positive view of the church in the community.
-
is a way for church members to build good working relations among each other as fellow members work together to provide a meaningful and needed service.
